Using the Project Board View
The Board View is a kanban-style view of your projects, organized by phase. It gives you a visual overview of where all projects stand in your workflow.
Navigate to: Projects > Board (select a board from the dropdown)
Understanding the Board
Each column on the board is a Phase — a stage in your project workflow (e.g., To Do, In Progress, Review, Done). Projects appear as cards within their current phase.
Each project card shows:
- Project title
- Associated client or organization
- Priority indicator (color-coded)
- End date
- Assignee avatar(s)
- Project value (if configured)
Switching Between Boards
If your organization has multiple project boards (e.g., Client Projects, Internal Projects):
- Click the Board dropdown at the top of the page.
- Select the board you want to view.
Moving Projects Between Phases
Drag and drop: Click and drag a project card from one column to another to update its phase.
From the project detail: Open the project, click the Phase field, and select the new phase.
Opening a Project
Click on any project card to open its full detail view, where you can:
- Edit all project fields
- Manage tasks and subtasks
- Add activities and notes
- View attachments
- Link to deals
Adding a Project Directly from the Board
Click the + button at the top or bottom of any phase column to create a new project that starts in that phase.
Filtering the Board
Use the Filter button to narrow down which projects are displayed:
- Assignee
- Priority
- Labels
- Date range (start or end date)
- Organization
- Custom fields
Switching to Table View
If you prefer a spreadsheet-style list:
- Use the view toggle buttons in the top-right corner.
- Select Table View.
Table View allows easier sorting, filtering across all fields, and bulk selection.
Archiving Projects
When a project is complete or no longer active:
- Open the project or select it in the list.
- Click Archive from the actions menu.
Archived projects are hidden from the active board but can be accessed via filters and restored at any time.
Tips for Using the Board Effectively
- Limit work-in-progress — If your "In Progress" column becomes overcrowded, it can signal capacity issues.
- Review regularly — A weekly board review helps keep projects moving and surfaces blockers.
- Use priority colors — High-priority projects should be easy to spot on the board.
- Archive completed projects — Keep your active board clean by archiving finished work.
