SalesKey keeps you informed with in-app notifications whenever something relevant happens — a deal changes stage, a task is assigned to you, a workflow runs, and more.

Navigate to: The bell icon in the top navigation bar, or Notifications in the sidebar


Notification Center

Click the bell icon in the top navigation bar to open the notification panel. The bell shows a badge with your unread notification count.

From the notification center, you can:

  • See all recent notifications
  • Click a notification to navigate to the relevant record
  • Mark notifications as read
  • Mark all as read at once

Types of Notifications

Type What Triggers It
Deal Updates A deal is assigned to you or changes stage
Lead Updates A lead is assigned to you or updated
Task Assignments A task is assigned to you
Activity Reminders An activity is due soon
Workflow Notifications A workflow automation sends you a notification
Approval Requests A timesheet is submitted for your approval
System Notifications Account or subscription updates
Email Alerts New email received (if email is connected)
Messages A team member sends you a message

Marking Notifications as Read

Single notification:

  • Click the notification to navigate to the record — it is automatically marked as read.
  • Or click the mark as read option on an individual notification.

All notifications:

  • Click Mark All as Read at the top of the notification panel.

Notification Auto-Delete

Read notifications are automatically deleted after 30 days to keep your notification center clean. Unread notifications are retained until you read or dismiss them.


Viewing All Notifications

For a full list of all notifications (not just the most recent):

  1. Click the bell icon.
  2. Click View All Notifications at the bottom of the panel.
  3. You will be taken to the full Notifications page where you can scroll through your history.

Filtering Notifications

On the full Notifications page:

  • Filter by type to see only certain notification categories.
  • Filter by read/unread status.

Real-Time Notifications

Notifications appear in real-time — when someone assigns a task to you or a workflow fires, you will see the notification badge update immediately without needing to refresh the page.


Notification Preferences

To customize which notifications you receive:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile or the Notification Preferences section.
  2. Toggle which types of notifications you want to receive.

Not all notification types may be configurable. Contact your administrator if you need changes to your notification setup.


Tips

  • Clear your notifications regularly — Keeping your notification center clean makes it easier to spot new, important updates.
  • Click through promptly — Notifications are most useful when you act on them. Click through to the record and take action.
  • Watch for workflow notifications — Automated workflows may send you notifications that require action.
