Using the Inbox
The SalesKey Inbox is your integrated email client — you can read, search, organize, and link emails to CRM records without switching to a separate email application.
Navigate to: Inbox (requires a connected email account — see Connecting an Email Account)
Inbox Layout
The Inbox has three main panels:
- Folder sidebar — Shows your email folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Starred, Trash)
- Email list — Lists conversations in the selected folder
- Email detail — Shows the full content of the selected email thread
Folders
| Folder | Description |

| Inbox | Your main email inbox |
| Drafts | Emails saved but not yet sent |
| Sent | Emails you have sent |
| Starred | Emails you have starred for follow-up |
| Trash | Deleted emails |
Reading Emails
- Click any email in the list to open it in the detail panel.
- Threaded conversations are grouped together — click to expand earlier messages in the thread.
- Use the back arrow to return to the email list.
Searching Emails
Use the Search bar at the top of the Inbox to search by:
- Subject
- Sender name or email address
- Email content/body text
Results update as you type.
Marking Emails
- Mark as Read/Unread: Right-click an email or use the action menu.
- Star an email: Click the star icon to mark it for follow-up. Starred emails appear in the Starred folder.
Deleting Emails
- Click the trash icon or select Delete from the action menu.
- Deleted emails move to the Trash folder.
- You can restore emails from Trash within a limited window.
Undo Actions
SalesKey provides an Undo option for up to 8 seconds after bulk actions like delete, star, or mark as read. Click Undo in the notification that appears at the bottom of the screen to reverse the action.
Bulk Actions
Select multiple emails using the checkboxes, then use the action toolbar to:
- Mark as read / unread
- Star / unstar
- Delete
- Restore from Trash
Syncing Your Inbox
Your inbox syncs automatically. To manually trigger a sync:
- Click the Sync or Refresh button in the Inbox header.
Attachments
- Attachments are shown at the bottom of the email detail.
- Click to download an attachment.
- Some file types (images, PDFs) can be previewed directly in SalesKey without downloading.
File download limits may apply depending on your subscription plan.
