Sharing Dashboards

You can share dashboards with team members so everyone can see the same metrics and reports. Shared dashboards are useful for team meetings, management reviews, and keeping everyone aligned.

Navigate to: Dashboard > Dashboard Settings

Sharing a Dashboard

  1. Open the dashboard you want to share.
  2. Click the Settings or Share option (usually in the dashboard header menu).
  3. In the sharing panel, search for and add team members.
  4. Choose a permission level for each person:
    • View — They can see the dashboard but cannot edit it.
    • Edit — They can modify widgets and layout.
  5. Click Save to confirm.

The dashboard will now appear for the selected team members when they log into SalesKey.

Shared Dashboard Access

Team members with whom you've shared a dashboard can:

  • View it from their Dashboard section
  • Switch to it using the dashboard selector
  • See the same widgets you configured (with data filtered to their own permissions)

Revoking Access

  1. Open the dashboard settings.
  2. Find the team member in the sharing list.
  3. Click Remove next to their name.

They will no longer see the dashboard.

Dashboard Visibility vs. Data Permissions

Important distinction:

  • Dashboard sharing controls who can see the dashboard layout.
  • Data permissions (roles) control what data each person can see within the widgets.

A sales rep viewing a shared dashboard will see only deals they have access to, even if the dashboard is configured to show all deals.

Tips for Shared Dashboards

  • Create a team dashboard — Share a single dashboard with your entire team so everyone sees the same core metrics.
  • Lock the date filter — Use the filter lock to ensure everyone sees the same time period when reviewing.
  • Use "view" permissions for most — Only give "edit" access to people who need to maintain the dashboard.
  • Name dashboards clearly — "Q2 Sales Team Overview" is clearer than "Dashboard 3".
