- You will be prompted to either:
- Upload a photo of the business card from your device
- Use your camera (if on a supported device/browser) to take a photo
- SalesKey analyzes the card and extracts the following information where available:

- Job title
- Website
- Address
- Review the extracted information in the form that appears. Correct any errors.

Tips for Best Results
- Use good lighting when photographing a business card.
- Make sure the card is flat and fully visible — avoid shadows or bent edges.
- Hold the card steady and straight for a clear image.
- Cards with clean layouts and standard fonts scan more accurately than heavily stylized designs.
- If the scan misses a field, you can fill it in manually before saving.
After Scanning
Once the contact is saved, you can:
- Link them to an Organization if it was detected on the card.
- Add additional information like status, labels, or custom fields.
- Create an Activity to log your first interaction.
- Associate them with a Lead or Deal.
Troubleshooting
The scan did not detect all the information.
- Manually enter any missing fields before saving.
- Try taking a clearer photo with better lighting.
The extracted information is incorrect.
- Correct the fields in the review form before saving.
- Always verify extracted data against the physical card.
