What Are Activities?

Activities
Apr 10, 2026

Activities are records of interactions and events in SalesKey. Every phone call you make, every meeting you attend, every email you send, every task you complete — all of these can be logged as activities in SalesKey.

Logging activities gives your team a complete history of all interactions with contacts, leads, deals, and projects.

Activity Types

SalesKey includes standard activity types, and your administrator can add custom types:

How Activities Connect Your Data

An activity can be linked to multiple records simultaneously:

  • A Call might be linked to a Person, their Organization, and the Deal you are discussing.
  • A Meeting might be linked to a Lead and an Organization.
  • A Task might be linked to a Project and a specific Phase on the board.

These links mean you can see the full interaction history from any contact, deal, project, or lead's profile.
